Barbie Garcia
Managing Attorney
Ms. Garcia is a licensed Florida attorney certified as an expert in the area of real estate law by the Florida Bar. Ms. Garcia has over 20 years of professional experience in the areas of real estate and transactional law representing family offices, investor groups, lender’s and foreign investors.
The practice focus area consists of real estate acquisition and development, 1031 exchanges, banking and finance and business law.
Her experience covers multiple classes of real estate in complex commercial acquisitions and sales, for asset classes including commercial shopping centers, multi-family buildings, industrial properties and vacant sites for re-development.
Barbie’s experience representing both institutional and private (non-institutional) lenders as well as corporate investor borrowers/guarantors, allows her to approach the review of a CRE loan from an advantageous perspective when it comes time to negotiate.
Claudia Alonso

Ms. Alonso joined BG Law, PA in 2018 as a law clerk. Upon graduating from law school, she joined as an Associate Attorney. She earned her undergraduate degree from University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill in 2013 and her juris doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2019 with honors. She was admitted in the Florida Bar in September of 2019. Ms. Alonso has dedicated her professional career to the practice of commercial and residential Real Estate, Business and Corporate Transactions and Banking and Institutional Lending Transactions. Her experience lies in the representation of lenders, private and institutional, and the drafting and interpreting of loan documents, review of collateral and borrower documentation and ensure lender’s rights are protected.
